Michael Kean's elusive but brilliant collection of Arthur Porges' Holmesian spoofs was published by Magico Magazine in 1988. In addition to the four stories, the book contains an informative introduction by the editor, a transcription of a letter from Frederic Dannay to Arthur Porges, and a rare article by Porges entitled "The Other Works of Arthur Conan Doyle." The pastiche, "The Singular Affair of the Aluminium Crutch," was first published in this volume.

This limited edition volume was published in 2002 by Ash-Tree Press. Edited by Mike Ashley, it contains twenty-eight of Porges' weird and supernatural stories, most of them drawn from the pages of old magazines. The book also includes the previously unpublished story "Swamp Demon," in addition to rare stories such as "The Man Who Wouldn't Eat" and Arthur Porges' first published story "Modeled in Clay." The first book in a two-volume collection of essays, the majority of which originally appeared from 1986 to 1989 in The Monterey County Herald newspaper, while others are published here for the first time. This first volume contains a number of memoirs wherein Porges reflects candidly on various incidents from his long life, including several from his childhood in Chicago as well as recollections of the challenges he faced while serving in the U.S. Army during the World War Two.
